Today, translations of the Bible are made to make it easier for all people to understand.
However, great care must be taken to ensure that the translations are faithful to the original manuscripts.

It tells the story of Abraham and his descendants and the struggles since God chose him.
Abraham is the patriarch and the one in whom the promise would be fulfilled that his descendants would be like the stars of the heavens.
It is in this group of books of the Pentateuch that we find the story of the enslavement of the children of Israel.
All their captivity in the land of Egypt and their subsequent deliverance by the strong hand of Jehovah.

Then follow the historical books, which tell the story of the journeys of the people of Israel.
And the consequences of their disobedience and also the consequences they had when they obeyed the voice of God.
It is told by men and women who had the responsibility of leading the people whom God had chosen to be His possession.
In their journey to be conformed to the Word of God.
On their way to be conformed to the Word of God, in obedience to follow the laws established by Him.
The Israelites, the descendants of Abraham, to whom it was promised that their descendants would be many.

THE NEW TESTAMENT
This second part of the Bible has 27 books and, like the Old Testament, is divided into 5 parts:
- The Gospels
- The Acts of the Apostles
- The letters of Paul
- The general epistles
- Prophecy or Apocalypse.
In the Gospels we see the life of Jesus from his conception to his death and resurrection.
Although they were written by four different people, they do not contradict each other but complement each other.
2- The Acts of the Apostles, as its name suggests, tells the story of all the stories of each of the apostles after the death of Jesus.
How the Church was built up and strengthened by the preaching of the Gospel by these men.
The Pauline epistles, were letters written by the apostle Paul to specific churches and people.

Paul was a man who planted churches everywhere and had the ministry to preach to the Gentiles.
They were reached and won to Christ through Paul’s preaching of the Word.
The other epistles were written by other apostles and they complement the ones written by Paul because they talk about how we should behave as Christians.
The Apocalypse, or the dreaded book of Revelation, was written by the Apostle John.
And it is full of prophecies for the end times and before the end.
They are not to be feared, but studied in depth.
You should not read this book without having other books of the Bible at hand, such as Daniel, which are an essential part of the prophecies.
