The Bible is not just a book to read, it is the life manual of every believer!

It is the Word of God, what He wants for your life!

Prayer, fasting and devotions (daily Bible reading) are good habits.

They help Christians maintain their fellowship with God.

Although it may seem a bit tedious at first, today I will give you some tips on how to read the Bible in a month so that you can develop the habit. Choose enjoyable readings, such as the history of the early Christians.

Tips for reading the Bible

The first thing to consider when you decide to start reading the Bible is which version to choose.

Although any Bible is useful, it is important to choose a Bible with an easy-to-understand translation.

With large print and a concordance included.

In this case I would suggest the New International Version (New Living Translation) as it contains very fluent language.

Once you have made your choice, you should pray before you begin.

Ask the Holy Spirit to give you the ability to understand the reading. At the end, give thanks for His Word.

Don’t leave the time you choose to read your Bible to chance.

The fewer interruptions you have, the better your reading will be.

Activities such as reading the Bible in a month, meeting with friends, etc. are characteristic of a Christian.

So is regularly attending the church of your choice (congregation) and preaching the gospel.

Whatever your religion, if you want to know how to read the Bible in a month, it is important to set a goal!

Decide how many days a week you can read the Bible, as this will help you calculate the number of sessions you need to reach your goal.

Our goal is to read for a month

Some people do it every day, but this should not be a constant.

Some people count the number of pages in the Bible and divide that by the number of sessions they plan to read, but I find that a bit cumbersome!

I can suggest a simpler way to achieve your goal, taking into account the 66 books of the Bible.

If we divide the 66 books in the Bible by the 30 days in a month, you would need to read about two and a half books a day. However, you can plan your reading sessions as you see fit, as only you know what you can read each day. If you want to look at other options, I suggest you look at how many books there are in each part of the Protestant Bible.

One recommendation that should not be overlooked is to always have a pen and paper handy.

Write down anything that catches your attention.

Write down what you don’t understand so that you can analyse it later.

Remember our first image: when you pray, you are talking to God, but when you read the Bible, He is talking to you! Remember everything He tells you!

How to read and benefit from the Bible

Share what you learn with others, exchange ideas and ask someone who knows more than you.

You will find that this is an effective way of gaining knowledge.

Unfortunately, the Bible is a natural sleeping pill for many people.

Choose a time of day when you are most active and don’t get tired!

Remember that if you fall asleep, you will lose valuable time in reaching your goal of reading the Bible in one month.

I suggest you try it first thing in the morning.

You can get up a little earlier and make the most of your day.

This device can give you an enriching reading experience!

Read the Bible to gain knowledge

The most important message I want you to take away from this article is not how to read the Bible in a month.

It is the fact that you should use your Bible as your daily food!
It is good to read the Bible quickly when you need specific information, but if you do it that way, you will lose a lot of it.
If you want to read your Bible in record time, go for it!

However, once you have achieved your goal, I respectfully urge you to take the time to find out how many books the Hebrew Bible has, to study them and to meditate on them in detail.
Remember that the Bible is not just a book of fascinating stories from the past, but God’s very Word to you, your manual for life!

The Bible says that “all Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16).

That means it is useful for absolutely everything!

Let me take this opportunity to share with you my favourite Bible verse:

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” Psalm 119:105.

As a believer, I invite you to learn a little more about the Bible.

Take a moment to share with God!

“I believe the Bible is the greatest gift God has given to mankind. All the good that the Saviour of the world has provided for us is communicated to us in this book, and without it we would not know the difference between good and evil. Everything that is useful to man is in the Bible” Abraham Lincoln.
