THE STORY OF JOSEPH

Joseph was one of Jacob’s youngest sons, certainly a very popular one, and therefore much envied by his brothers.

According to his brothers, this boy was just a teenager when his brothers hatched a plan to get rid of him for good.

To get rid of him forever, they would sell him as a slave to some Egyptians for just 20 pieces of silver!

Silver coins! Yes, cruel as it may seem, this is what they did, with deliberation and malice.

Then they presented themselves to his father in their coloured tunics, stained with the blood of an animal, and told him that they had sold him to his father.

And they told him that he had been eaten by a wild beast.

And his other brothers did not care; Joseph was sold to one of Pharaoh’s servants and was his most faithful worker.

Pharaoh made him the head of his household, but one day the husband of this high official wanted to provoke young Joseph.

But one day the husband of this high official wanted to provoke the young Joseph into going to bed with her, but the young Joseph, thinking how good his master had been, ran away and fled.

But when he thought how good his master had been, he ran away and fled from the temptation that the woman offered him, and the woman, enraged at his contempt, reproached him before her husband.

She also accused him of sexual harassment before her husband, who was angry and sent him to prison.

There in prison Joseph also behaved very well and the jailer put him in charge of the prisoners

and while he was there two prisoners had a dream and he deciphered it for them.

This brought him to the palace and Pharaoh made him second in command of all his kingdom because he had deciphered a dream that he had had, Joseph became very powerful and when famine came to the land, only Egypt had food because Joseph had devised a plan to store food during the good years when food was plentiful,

for Joseph had devised a plan to store food in the good years when food was plentiful.

Joseph then had the opportunity to feed his brothers and his father when they went down to Egypt to buy food.
There was also a shortage of bread in Egypt.

Joseph revealed himself to his brothers, who were amazed at how far he had come, even though they had planned evil for him.

Joseph did not hold a grudge, forgave them and took them to Egypt with their families and all their possessions.

Egypt with their families and all their possessions so that they would not lack for food.

This Bible story for young people shows that when God is with a person and he is upright and honest before him

And in spite of all the bad things that may happen to him, he does not complain because he knows that God is in control.

That’s why it’s an ideal story for young people who think that God only does things with adults.

because you can see that it is not like that, Joseph was just a teenager when he started living all these things.

Joseph was just a teenager when he started to experience all these things.

You can find the whole story in the book of Genesis from chapter 37.

THE STORY OF DAVID

In these Bible stories for young people we also find the story of young David.

While his brothers were warriors, he was in charge of his father’s sheep, and was apparently a little despised by his family.

One day the prophet Samuel was looking for the sons of Jesse (David’s father) and he called them all (except David).

Samuel called them all (except David) because he wanted to anoint the next king of Ishtarel, and they passed by one by one,

but when they came to the last one, Samuel said that there was none of them, though they were big and strong, and then he asked Jesse if he had any of them, though they were big and strong.

Samuel asked Jesse if he had another son and then he “remembered” that David was tending his sheep and sent for him.

He was just a teenager, very good looking, though not as strong as his brothers, though not as strong as them.

As soon as he saw him, he called him and anointed him king in front of his father and brothers.

brothers.

David continued to be a shepherd even though he had been anointed king, but it was not yet his turn to be king.

One day, when his father sent him to watch over his brothers, he found that a great man was crying with a loud voice, and he was afraid.

One day when his father sent him to watch over his brothers, he found that a huge man was shouting at the God of Israel, and this greatly upset him, and he challenged the giant,

The whole of Saul’s army and the army of the Philistines looked at him in bewilderment, wondering what he was doing.

Is this little boy crazy? They couldn’t believe it!!!! An army couldn’t take on this giant, let alone a child.

But David wouldn’t listen to anyone, he was determined to go in the name of the Lord of armies and he took a stone while he prepared his sling and prepared his sling.

He was determined to go in the name of the Lord of armies, and he took a stone, and he prepared his sling, and he stood before the giant, who might have looked at him with contempt, but David was not moved.

But David was unmoved, he could not allow an uncircumcised man to insult his  God.

To make a long story short, David killed the giant with a stone that he drove into the middle of his forehead, grabbed the man’s sword and cut him down.

David took the man’s sword and cut off his head with one stroke and without much remorse.

You can find the story of David in 1 Samuel from chapter 17.
